Cornerstone Donors

 The effects of Hurricane Irma

Broward House owns 15 properties which includes 10 apartment buildings and an Assisted Living Facility.  The fiscal impact on preparation and repairs is an unbudgeted expense not covered by grants.  The expenses include replacing damaged doors, walls impacted by roof leaks, damaged air conditioners from surges and stocking the Assisted Living Facility with extra supplies.  The impact was also uncompensated staff costs, as clean up duties and emergency responses are not supported by grants while we were unable to provide our regular direct services.   This impact can only be recovered with donations from our community.
